I1 Energy Completes a 6.8 MW Solar Project in New Mexico

I1 Energy has completed a turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract with Onyx Renewable Partners L.P. for its 6.8 MW (dc) Middle Daisy solar project in Lovington, New Mexico. The project includes a 69-kV substation and switch.

Onyx’s CEO Matthew Rosenblum said, “We were excited to work with i1 to complete our company’s first solar project in New Mexico.”

Topher Wood, COO of i1 Energy, said, “We are very excited to be working with Onyx to provide utility solar in New Mexico. This project kicks-off a strong start for i1 Energy and we look forward to continuing to provide quality projects alongside our partners in the industry.”

i1 Energy Completes 2.7MW Project in Palmdale, CA

I1 Energy, a boutique National Solar EPC, announced the commercial operation of the One Ten Partners Project in Palmdale, California. The One Ten Solar Facility was developed by Solar Electric Solutions (SES) and is owned by a consortium of the principles from SES & i1 Energy, as well as Cygnus Capital.

The One Ten facility uses approximately 6,500 Jinko solar modules mounted on ATI single-axis trackers and utilizes SMA Inverters. The project sells its energy to SCE through the Renewable Market Adjusting Tariff (REMAT).

“The completion of the One Ten project is the first example of i1 Energy’s high-quality execution of utility solar projects on time and on budget.” said Tom Dodson, Chief Executive Officer of i1 Energy.

I1 Energy, has executed a turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with Onyx Renewable Partners L.P. for its 6.8 MW (dc) Middle Daisy Solar project in Lovington, New Mexico. The project includes a 69-kV substation and switch.

Design and procurement services are underway and the project is expected to be completed by the end of Q3. Onyx’s CEO Matthew Rosenblum said, “We are excited to work with i1 as we build our company’s first solar project in New Mexico.”
